Bio

Since 2005, my professional focus has been building and marketing for online businesses, working mainly with social media and other web 2.0 resources to build communities and ongoing conversations with the community.

Since 2007 I have been working in setting up what I call “Online Marketing Architecture” for companies and individuals.

In this, I focus on seeing the goals of the company then customize a full web 2.0 marketing strategy and plan. I then can go through as much of the implementation and management that is needed. I can also set up an online persona management program depending on how deep they want to go. With the right tools this can be quite elaborate.

In February 2007 I created and now run the SF Webeneur Meetup group.(http://www.Meetup.com/Webeneur). This meetup helps individuals and businesses start and grow their businesses online. It is currently a thriving community organized and run by myself.

Also, this meetup is currently ranked as one of the “Top 50” Business Meetup groups in the nation by Meetup.com and American Express.

I was named the Meetup Organizer of the week in March 2009.

One of my biggest achievements has been creating and building an advertising and marketing company that worked with hundreds of local and national companies. I developed and headed up the sales system. I recruited and trained dozens of salespeople. I also worked face to face and over the phone with the local and national companies listening to their needs then selling and setting up local based marketing programs for them.

Another big achievement for me has been writing my sales e-book “IMPULSE!”. The book was self published and marketed by me online to my personal market in order to learn the process. The book looks at how we make decisions and the tools salespeople can use to leverage this insight.

Travel

My first world traveling experience was the summer after graduating from High School at the age of 17 as an exchange student for the summer to Germany. That is where I began journaling (I now have over 2000 written pages about my life). During this trip I also found my love for international travel and languages.

My second trip was one year later for a year to France again as an exchange student. As all of my friends went to college Il worked for a year in factories and farm jobs to pay for the year trip.

Returning from France Il went to the University of Florida and received a B.S. in Psychology. While there I took lots of courses in French just for fun.

During the following years I dabbled in businesses and work. I also coached and played for the internationally successful Paintball team “Tippmann Effect”. The highlight of my Paintball career was when in 2002, my team Tippmann Effect, won the International Amateur Open of Paintball.

After my career in Paintball I focused solely on building and running businesses. In 2005 I sold my part of a business in Ohio and moved to San Francisco.

My major goals now consist of:

  • Building concentrated mobile income and passive mobile income
  • Traveling while blogging about my experiences
  • Sharing my knowledge with others who want to be Mobile World Citizens
  • Connecting with other Mobile World Citizens
